Erik is dismayed that we're seeing "right-wing billionaire funded propaganda influencing Democratic Party policy." Indeed. And also we're seeing Michelle Malkin-class union baiting on behalf of Obama intimates Duncan and Emanuel.

Today I was teaching my Irish Lit class, and apropos of nothing (we're right now doing The Midnight Court) a student asks me, a few minutes before we started, "hey, in all those Bugs Bunny cartoons, why is the cop always Irish?"
And I told him, because public service in America was once, and still should be, an honorable calling, a patriotic endeavor, and a ticket to the hard-working, secure middle class.
No "entrepreneur" works harder than a K-6 teacher. Or does more good. (Seriously, you sold more timeshares than whoever taught your kid to read? Applause?)
There's no question that the GOP RomneyBot needs to lose, but I'll tell you straight, if the Democrats need to win, they will need to know to whom they are beholden, because I'm kind of pissed off right now.
