OK, so without the stimulus, there would be anywhere from 200,000 to 1.5 million fewer people employed right now? That means the current cost-per-job created is somewhere between $4.1 million and $540,000.
So?
Why isn't that worth it?
A better-aimed stimulus would have had more people working. Sure.
But I can't see why there's any bitching about how much it costs to get folks working. Fucking banks who fucked up in the first place got a lot more -- and they apparently still get to be in charge. And it's their fault that nobody has any work.
Fuck them.
Why is it suddenly Scandalous that too much money is being spent on getting jobs for ordinary Americans, but it was no big deal when the whole fucking national economy had to be sacrificed because of Wall Street fuckups?
