So The Donalde has been knocking around in our comments, behaving in a perfectly Donaldeian fashion. I'd say, good, at least this keeps him off the streets, except that in his case the streets would be a more salubrious environment for him and for everyone else, because if he were on the streets, we wouldn't know that when he thinks about Britney Spears he touches himself, which is, for many reasons beyond even the obvious, extremely gross.
Overall, what aimai said; The Donalde is usually far too silly to bother with, even by our blog standards, shudder. But what the hey, wingnut flies, wanton bloggers, sport, you know? So let's see what crawled up his ass and for a mercy killed itself.
I'm intrigued by the meme this weekend on the blame-righty progressive left. It turns out that Gateway Pundit mistook the closed-captioned "applause' text at the Phoenix Jumbotron for audience prompts at last Wednesday's Obama-Democrat Tucson exploitation rally. And then faster than you can despicable smear, Charles Johnson slams Gateway as a "dim bulb" troglodyte of the "wingnut blogoshpere." But Gateway's Jim Hoft came back with a withering reply: "Figures. Charles Johnson’s Crackpot Hero Arrested For Threatening to Kill Tea Party Leader on National TV." Heh. That's good.
One does not need to especially care for Charles Johnson to observe that The Donalde is being The Douche: Johnson catches out Hoft for saying something idiotic and untrue, Hoft replies "so's your mother," and The Donalde farts a high five. That's not good! That's bad! That is, in fact, horseshit!
You don't require anything besides the evidence of that paragraph to tell you all you'd ever want or need to know about The Donalde, frankly.
But there's more.
You don't say.
I cruised over to Althouse earlier, and she has a hilarious post picking up on Whiskey Fire's demonic ramblings at Firedoglake: "Hoft gets this through Instadouche and, unsurprisingly, Ann Althouse, who has been looking at pictures again, something that never ends well..." The Whisky Fire proprietor is Thers. He's a classic progressive and morally-bankrupt attack blogger from the TBogg "F*ck Me Pumps" school of racist misogyny and character assassination. Or, as Ann responds, "Heh. I got FireDogLake writing in the anti-Althousiana genre."
The "I cruised" is good; it indicates that The Donalde is a dab hand at the demotic, in the manner of The Fonz or similar. "Demonic ramblings" is better, though, and I intend to cherish the phrase an an Heirloom of my House. ("Whiskey" with an "e," though, son. Some things are just sacred.)
Also I am fond of having the ironclad proof of my racism be cited in the form of a link to TBogg. I pray that the same may happen with my Applebee's Marguerita Madness bar tabs.
But stupid is as stupid does, as they say. Or in this case, as evil does, and you can't touch the left on that. Because as I've been documenting, along with many other voices of moral clarity on the right, the aftermath of Tucson has revealed a depth of progressive depravity thus far unknown to man. I have yet to see a single progressive publish an apology or retraction for their baseless smears that came within minutes of the shooting on January 8th. It's been truly sickening.
Uh, yeah. Whatever. What does this have to do with myself...?
Here's Thers, for example, at Whiskey Fire, alleging "heated right-wing rhetoric" for the death and destruction at the Gabrielle Giffords event --
The punchline is that in that post which he quotes and then misrepresents I don't say anything of the sort.
What I do say is that even if it were true that conservative discourse caused the shooting, that's nothing next to the fact that the Right Wing is immediately responsible for stupid wars and the mass deaths to be caused by environmental disaster.
Get it straight, Donalde. I called you and yours genocidal fuckheads. *
Have you no decency, man?
Oh wait that is not the punchline. This is the punchline.
It's the big lie of the progressive-left, as I argued yesterday, as well as Diana West earlier, "Tragedy Exposes 'The Big Lie'"...
But she's right to place the lies squarely in the longstanding tradition of leftist totalitarian utopianism. She illustrates her blog post with the image of Joseph Stalin above, and writes: "'Never mind, they'll swallow it', said Stalin, the 20th Century's first successful progenitor of the Big Lie." [very sic]
The phrase "first progenitor" indicates a basic contempt (Orwellian! Or just stupid!) for the language of Shakespeare and Milton.
Besides that, the "Big Lie" idea is from fucking Hitler.
There is no more useless an idiot than the idiot who idiotically high fives an even more useless idiot.
More to the point, and no snark required, The Donalde, as sad and unimportant and dimwitted a case study as he is, is no more ludicrous than any of his heroes or leaders, of whom the best are con artists, the worse, psychopaths, and the worst, traitors.
*Ahem.
