Patterico has some very excited posts here, here, and here about something in the Liberal Avenger's comments section. Patterico has up multiple screenshots, lots of links, and lots of commentary. There's just tons of stuff there about this thing in the Liberal Avenger's comments section.
Cathy Young is also extremely concerned about this thing that happened in LA's comments section:
Patterico covers what should be a blogosphere scandal but isn't, for some reason.
Ahem.
The reason it is not a "blogosphere scandal" is that nothing that ever happens or has ever happened or ever will happen in a blog comments section is worth getting upset about for more than two minutes.
If your concern about something that happened in a blog comments section lasts for more than two minutes, you may need to go get some perspective. Or seek medical attention.
Sheesh.
But I did enjoy this bit from Patterico:
As evidence that this is no big deal, Damen [of Pandagon] approvingly cites the habits of commenters at Sadly, No!, who regularly post embarrassing comments under the name Ann Althouse.
Dude, if posting embarrassing stuff under the name of Ann Althouse is a crime, then Ann Althouse had better get herself a much better lawyer than the one she plays on the Internets.
(And I'm so mellow right now, I ain't even fazed that Damen from Pandagon is stealing our schtick.)
