Libertarians did not Triumph in a Rational Argument; the GOP scraped a minority procedural win in the Senate, where many things occur -- Rational Fucking Argument rarely being responsible for any of them.
It is not exactly a Triumph of Libertarian Reason that the least democratically responsive body in Our National Democracy was able, by means of a parliamentiary trick played by the side that decisively lost the last set of national elections, a parliamentary trick which appears nowhere in the Constitution, to defeat a widely popular law.
