Science! Wingnut science! Global climate change, disproved yet again! All the top wingnut scientists know this, because of this article in... Pravda. (Do I shit you? No. I shit you not.)
Anyhow, Pravda says that we're soon in for an Ice Age, not global warming. An Ice Age! Gracious! Best grab a scarf! Brrrrr!
Top wingnut scientist and noted fucknosed prissy shitbooger Noel Sheppard speculates, scientifically, based on scientific information from the Glenn Beck show, that Vladimir Putin knew all about this scientific Pravda science revelation, and is using it to cleverly manipulate the world oil market. This is not only possible, but probable. Because once something is published in Pravda, it automatically attains what is called by disinterested scientists Automatic Unquestioned Scientific Legitimacy.
This is well known. For instance, here are some other Very Important Scientific Stories broken recently by Pravda:
SCIENCE ITEM! France unveils secret images of aliens and their spaceships!
SCIENCE ITEM! Dog gives birth to mutant creature that looks like a human being!
SCIENCE ITEM! Celebration of underwear fashion!
SCIENCE ITEM! Meet Russian Supermodel Natalia Vodianova!
SCIENCE ITEM! Hellish hairy sea monster cast ashore!
Take that, Al Gore! And if you want any more, talk to the free animated clip-art gnomes and leprechauns!
BONUS TOTALLY FRICKIN' HILARIOUS UPDATE. The author of this piece in Pravda is named Gregory F. Fegel. Do you know what else Mr.Fegel believes? That THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WAS BEHIND 9/11. Go, Wingnuts, GO! GO!

I thought Pravda's piece on Natalia Vodianova was thorough and informative.

Thank you for the first good laugh of the day -- "noted fucknosed prissy shitbooger Noel Sheppard".
You should always either use that or refer to him as Noel Sheppard, NFNPSB.

I hear we're in for a record wheat harvest this year, too.

Sheppard's reaction to learning that Fegel is a 9/11 conspiracy nut: "How delicious that an America-hating Truther who contributes to Pravda has a firmer grasp of climatology than Nobel Laureate Al Gore, James Hansen, Gavin Schmidt, and most of the folks at the IPCC."

You might want to fix the "France unveils secret images of aliens and their spaceships!" link.

There's some awesome stuff on Pravda! Space aliens on the Moon! Fat stripper chicks! And Man Dismembers his Wife By Mistake.

Just watch the sun. It has been going through a very quiescent period. That’s not good news for us.
We better hope and pray for global warming. The alternative is worse.
Now I'll let you get back to your immature ranting. Good day.

"How

I can understand your site-crawler pulling up stuff from embarrassing sources. But when that happens, you're supposed to unplug that site, not defend it.

I already knew there was no izvestia in Pravda,
and no pravda in Izvestia.
Now it seems that there's precious little pravda in Pravda.

Now I'll let you get back to your immature ranting. Good day.
What on earth makes you think you're any more "mature" than a loony conspiracy theorist?

Gregory Fegel has made more noise recently, being the denialist of the day. However, it is important to note that his prediction of an imminent ice age is rubbish. Based on Milankovitch cycles if this was to occur it would have happened about 800 years ago, and we missed the on ramp. The AR4 Paleoclimate chapter (Ch 4) says
"It is virtually certain that global temperatures during coming centuries will not be significantly influenced by a natural orbitally induced cooling. It is very unlikely that the Earth would naturally enter another ice age for at least 30 kyr."
Of yes, the IPCC does not ignore paleoclimate, it features it. More deconstruction at Rabett Run
