Wasn't Allahpundit saying that in fact, the ad distorted the facts? He argued that Obama's past conduct refuted the notion that he didn't visit the troops because of the lack of cameras and popping flashbulbs.

I think he was saying that only very stupid people would be swayed by it, and that McCain overplayed his hand (?)

Frankly I agree with Art Levine at HuffPost--rather than blame McCain (underdog) for trying to throw mud to see if any of it stick, we should ask how Obama's campaign failed to anticipate and preempt this.

Frankly, I think this idea will stick with some people---maybe only those who would have chosen McCain anyway---and that the fault lies with Obama's strategists for not preempting these attacks.

Mr Riehl thoughtfully notes "Obama wants so badly to become C-I-C it's all he can do to keep himself from acting the part prematurely"
hmm, that sounds familiar, kind of like a guy who stole the presidency, then strutted around because he stole C-I-C fair and square because everyone wanted to have a beer with him and that certainly negated all principles of democracy.
fucking yellow-bellied, thugs and thieves
No, Mr. Riehl actually I won't "get over it" you contemptible pile of batshit.

Yes. Hence the "wow." As for what the Obama camp could or should anticipate, I dunno. They're going to fling trivial made-up bullshit, that's the plan, they have nothing else. That's really what this is about. That commercial won't resonate with anyone outside the 23 percenters.

"The amount of nothing the GOP has never fails to amaze."

That's funny. Like the Democrats have any substance. What amazes me is that BHO is repackaging the same old faild socialism message, and half the people who will be voting don't recognize it.

P.J. O'Rourke was right.

Mr. Nutz exhibits exactly the sort of nothing I mean.
