It's All Wet
Oy, Larry Johnson seems to have quite effectively bemalkined himself. Just fucking embarrassing.
For the record, and I can't believe this should even need to be said, but when you are allegedly a Democrat and you write on your blog "Tune in to Hannity" for reasons other than hearing the comical apology for getting caught with a stash of chipmunk bukakke videos -- why, when you've gone and done that, you've gone too far by several thousand miles and are really a completely hopeless case. To lie down with Hannity and Roger Stone? What the hell?
No quarter, damn right -- not even a fucking nickel.

If I were a Clinton supporter, just reading some of the stuff at No Quarter might make me think twice about being on the same team.
I don't know what it is about that site, but I just keep getting drawn back to see if it really and truly exists.
In a single post you can find out that Obama's hench-people are totally the *real* racist and sexist ones, and that Michelle Obama is a typical castrating bitch who is leading Obama by the balls to enslave white America. Good stuff.

Johnson will be a diehard Republican in about 3 months...and I don't think he'll be the only one making the switch. Be prepared for a lot of "I used to consider myself a Democrat, but thanks to
9/11the 2008 primaries I'm outraged byChappaquiddickscary black men."Posted by: Tom Hilton | June 02, 2008 at 07:31 PM
No Quarter = No Cents! Get it? Sense?
Sorry.

Tom,
Who cares, really?
There will also be a lot (probably a lot more) fuzzy-cheeked I used to be an airhead, but I so totally lOVE Obama now that it matters kind of people.
Most of the Clintonians will come around. If not, we'll have a new Naderites the Naderites and Democrats can rally around to hate.
Also, think about the Naderites for a second. Don't you think they were also disproportionately noticed on the Intertubes?
There weren't that many of them. Enough to hand an election over to the worst person in American history, but that's neither here nor there.
Wait. What was my point again?
Whitey get so confused!

Are we talking chipmunks or the Chipmunks? Or is this yet another intersection of politics and Furries?

Cripes, I can't even wade through the comments over there.

I'm fairly sure bemalkining is illegal in 23 states and the District of Columbia.
It'a a good thing Larry Johnson only exists on teh intertubez.

One of Larry's recent posts at his website burbles is about "Obama’s Chavez Communist Hezbollah Hamas Problem".
Larry reminds me of a years-old memory of Dana Carvey on SNL, doing a send-up of Ross Perot raving about "Republicans putting a damn giant radioactive scorpion in my basement!"

You'd think Obama supporters would feel the same about Orange Satan. But nooooooooooooo...
However, I bet the Obama campaign dreads every phone call they get from one of those morons.

I really liked No Quarter and kept reading it until the "watch Fox news" post. That was it for me.
Hopefully it'll turn back into a good blog someday.

Wait, didn't SCOTUS strike down those laws?

ibrahim al-jfaari: It's funny you mention Lambert. Back in The Tay (circa 2003, which is The Day in blog years) I was in a group of like minded blogs with Lambert and the gang at Corrente called the Liberal Coalition. At the time Lambert was one of the few astute minds in the liberal blogosphere. Nowadays, not so much.
I think some of us bloggers get tweaked a little too hard paying attention to this stuff for so long.

Well, unless you can find the post on the GOS where they had to ask to hold down the death threats, NQ is in a class by itself.

I've never felt entirely comfortable with the Larry Johnsons of the world being on "our side", if they ever really were. Ditto the elevation of Valerie Plame to iconic status. Suddenly "the Left" is a cheerleader for the CIA? When did that happen?

I have from time to time purused No Quarter to poke the crazies with a sharp stick.
But no more, No Quarter has merged with the wingnutosphere. There seems to be nothing but certifiable wingnuts residing there.

Or Patrick Fitzgerald. Or Keith Olbermann. Or Obama. Or Hillary.
Hero worship is for suckers, but it's going to happen no matter what.

That's how low Larry Johnson is: he doesn't even measure up to Malkin's standards.

She's just frustrated that she didn't get the matchup that she wanted.

And yet, folks enabled him during the Valarie Plame affair because he was "making sense"....
