Jonah Goldberg distancing himself from David Brooks because Rush Limbaugh (who thinks his book was an intellectual triumph) is too pure to approve of Republicans using *cynical posturing* to get in the position to pack the Supreme Court with activist judges.
That would be the Rush Limbaugh whose own brilliant strategy for affecting the outcome is pretending that the reason no-one's voting Republican in the primaries is that _he told them all to switch party registration and vote for Democrats_
Granted, Limbaugh's audience is far more likely to buy his books than Brooks' is
