I don't propose to actually watch or read any of the pundit nonsense about Iowa. I can manufacture my own uninformed gibberish.
Good for Obama. But the Dem race is still wide open. That's a good thing. But if Obama does not stop with the co-opting of right-wing talking points, he will continue to draw the ire of this blog. Is he prepared to run such a Terrible Risk? Let him think on that. (We also have our eye on the Emperor of Russia.)
On the GOP side, Huckabee won. Wheeee!
1. Can we perhaps change the thrust of Chuck Norris jokes away from how tough he is, to the more salient point -- that he is just a great big God-bothering ignorant goober with an inexcusable haircut? Thank you for your attention to this matter.
2. When do the GOP insider bastards stick in the shiv? South Carolina is the traditional killing ground, so I say there, and I look forward to the horror as well as the idiocy of the ploy. I also predict that if Huck is forced out of the race, he'll go third party. Why the hell not?
I still say for the GOP it will be MCCain-Lieberman. Can't stop the wanking, you know.
Also, The Corner is hugely entertaining this evening.
